This course covers: stocks, bonds, and mutual fund markets. Increase your understanding about your credit report, credit cards, consumer loan options, budgeting skills and personal and small business net worth.

Become more savvy in protecting yourself against being exploited by check cashing outlets, identity theft, real estate loans and other financial markets. Insurance, retirement and transportation needs are also covered topics.

Currently this course has no formal pre-requisites, however it is strongly recommended that students consider completing both a mathematics and accounting course prior to enrolling. While assessments contain very few mathematical or accounting calculations, the textbook author uses a significant number of calculations to support financial theories, and strategies.
