Small Business (Certificate of Recognition)  (15-19) Credits

The Business Management Program Small Business Certificate of Recognition introduces the basic business skills of marketing, accounting, and small business management. It is uniquely designed to accompany an individual’s previous experience and/or training in other professional fields and supports the transition to small business management or self-employment ventures.

 

Upon successful completion of the Business Management Small Business Certificate of Recognition, students will have demonstrated the ability to apply their skills and knowledge in the following ways:

  1. Identify and describe key components of a small business marketing campaign.
  2. Develop and write a basic Small Business Plan.
  3. Effectively apply components to the accounting equation to basic business transactions.
