Course Description and Objectives: This course is designed to introduce the most current version of the Fedora Core network operating system. Using Redhat Enterprise Linux version 4 (RHEL4) and the freely available Fedora Core 2 operating system,  students will learn and use Linux utilities and editors and will develop procedures using the Bourne and Korn shells, and awk and sed. UNIX/Linux system management responsibilities and procedures will be studied.
