Course Cmptr 283 - Novell NetWare System Administration

Course Description: Administration of a Local Area Network using NetWare Version 5. Includes planning and managing files systems, logins, security, servers, print servers, and system backup.

Course Objectives: Upon Completion of this course you will be able to:

• understand and apply the components and structure of Novell Directory Services
• plan and execute network installation and configuration of client and server software
• plan and configure resources within the directory tree
• plan and configure licensing, security and user accounts
• troubleshoot logical and physical network problems
